This use to be a tradition of my family when I was growing up to go and cut down our Christmas Tree at the Christmas Tree Farm. We normally did this on our birthday December 11
th. Once Jared and I moved off from Louisiana 10 years ago we never had the chance to visit a farm and continue the tradition. Now that we have moved back home to Louisiana we went to the farm with my sister and her family and my mom to start the tradition again. The kids had a blast and we also enjoyed a hay ride around the farm. Here are the pictures of the event.

I love this picture.
Ashlyn just loves her dad and they went off to find the tree.
The clan
This farm is very large and we did a lot of walking to find that perfect tree.
The trees start to look all the same and becomes difficult to find the perfect one.
Searching............................
Sheri and her family found their tree.
Anderson and I are looking.
Ashlyn is looking.....
We found it and Jared is cutting it down.
Ashlyn wasn't to sure about what Jared was doing to this tree.
There it goes........
Our family and the tree we picked. We decided to get a little one this year.
