16 Week Check Up with the Midwife.....

So I had my visit today with the midwife and everything is going well. We listen to the baby's heartbeat which was very strong but the baby was very active and kicked away several times. But she said everything is going great. She will be back for my next appointment in 4 weeks which will be week 20. Which we should be doing a ultrasound to see how the baby's growth is going. However, we will not be finding out what it is because we have chosen once again to let it be a surprise. There are very few surprises left in the world these days and so we have decided to let this be the one.
