Ashlyn is a BIG SISTER....

Since Anderson has been born Ashlyn has tried to be a big helper. Everytime Anderson cries she go to the rescue. As you can see in this picture she pulls on the swing and then looks for me to let me know that he is crying.

Then of course you can see she likes to get under the swing and gets mad because it hits her in the head.


She also likes to give him a big push at times in the swing as you can see below.

Babies Take Naps at the same time and I love it....

How peaceful it is in our home at this time. When both babies take their nap at the same time.

Ashlyn is all over her bed theses days. Never in the same spot.

Anderson looks pretty peaceful as well.

Happy Father's Day to Jared

Jared had told me he didn't want anything for Father's Day and not to buy a card. But I wanted to do something for him on his special day. So for Father's Day I decided to be a little creative. So I decided to finger print both of the babies hands and put it in a frame for Jared. This way he could display it in his office.

Underneath both of the babies prints, I put there name and their date of birth.

I thought it would be easy to get finger prints of the babies but it was a little of a challenge. Ashlyn didn't like me holding her hand and every time I tried to get Anderson's print he would ball his hand into a fist. Lets just say after trying 4 different times I was able to at least get one that both babies prints were able to be seen.

We just want to Thank You for buying the furniture set for the baby's new room. At the time we didn't know what we were having since we wanted it to be a surprise. The furniture goes perfect with Anderson's bed set. We still have to get his room put together but this is a start and the most important thing needed.

Both Babies Sound A Sleep

This weekend Jared was out of town in Colorado to see his patients. So today it was just the babies and me. They did really well and took their nap together and night time was a peace of cake. I went in to check on both of them before I climbed into bed and this is how I found them. They are peacefully sleeping.

Anderson 7 days old

Ashlyn 1 year and 9 days old. Ashlyn normally starts out at the head of her bed on her pillow and by the time I go to bed I find her at the foot of the bed. She never stays in one place anymore.
